We run the world’s first, best and longest-running airport commercial training course, and have trained many of the world’s aviation industry professionals.
CPI has been at the forefront of delivering market-leading professional development courses for airport executives and management, travel retail professionals and associated stakeholders. Since we established the initial workshop with Cranfield University in 2000, this UK-based course has been attended by over 350 delegates from airports and related companies in over 40 countries worldwide.
In 2013, we launched a second course in response to demand from airports and airport-related businesses in the southern hemisphere. The CPI Airport Commercial Development and Management Course, which builds on the foundations of the original CPI/Cranfield University workshop, takes place in Sydney, Australia.
We believe successful knowledge transfer is an important outcome of what we do for our customers. We do this informally, by working closely with commercial teams throughout our projects and formally, through professional training workshops, which can be tailored to each organisation’s needs. In response to requests from our customers we have developed bespoke versions of our established airport commercial training course, tailored to address organisations’ specific characteristics, challenges and opportunities.
These courses increase participants’ awareness and appreciation of all core aspects of developing and delivering airport commercial programmes which optimise revenue. Participants are exposed to expertise and insights to enhance and build upon their own knowledge and skills. The courses provide a forum where various strategies and ideas are explored and discussed with leading industry experts and peers.
